Raccoon
Valley
Resort, Heiskell
– This is one of our favorite Escapee RV Club parks, both for its
location just off I-75 a few miles north of
Knoxville, and because the area is so pretty. Sites range from pull-thru full
hookups to dry camping, and you don’t have to be an Escapee member to
spend the night, if space is available. There is a nice, clean laundry
room, library, rec room, pool, live music two nights a week, and lots of great Escapee hugs when you arrive.
Nashville
Country RV Park, Nashville
- I think this has to be one of the friendliest RV parks we have
ever stopped at. Everyone had a big smile on their face, and went out of
their way to make us feel welcome. The park is a Passport America
affiliate, and is located just north of the Nashville
metro area, making it the perfect place to stay when you visit Music
City. They are only a half hour away from
Bowling Green,
Kentucky
and the National Corvette Museum, and only a short drive further to
Mammoth Cave
National Park, making this the perfect base for exploring the region.
